Wonderful restaurant, everyone throughly enjoyed their meals. Prefect place if you want to have a more relaxed, non rushed dining experience. Very friendly and attentive staff. Plenty of options on the menu and there was a robust list of specials. Portions for both the apps and main courses were large and well worth the price. We ended up sharing all of the apps and each took home enough of our entrees to have lunch for the next day.

Wow! Fantastic food, delightful & very attentive waitstaff. Our compliments to the chef! We had over 60 people from our association and the plating was amazing. Everything cooked to perfection! Thank you so much! 😊

Genilla was our server and she was the absolute best. This restaurant is authentic Italian charm and deliciousness! If you like to share, order a bunch of items and share. The portions are beyond generous. If you like seafood, the seafood risotto and the sea bass are phenomenal. Cannolis are like grandmas! 5 stars +. Don't walk, run to La Piazza!!!

I had an excellent experience at La Piazza! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the staff (Lucas and Jonila) whose attentive and friendly service made all the difference. The portions were impressively generous — perfect for sharing — and every dish I ordered was beautifully presented and full of flavor. I could really taste the quality and care in each bite. La Piazza truly combines great food, hearty servings, and outstanding hospitality. I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back!

i made reservation for valentines & it was everything i had hoped for. my family was visiting and i thought this would be a great spot. a couple miles from home enjoying a special meal we didn’t have to cook. ambience was great, food was divine, and our waitress was incredible. the complimentary rose made my sister very happy. we’ll be back.

My family had a wonderful experience here! The hostess and waitstaff were warm and attentive, the food was incredible, and the ambience was just right! Large portions and beautiful plate presentations were the cherry on top! Special shout-out to Marcy who was very kind to us over the phone when we called to see if there were open tables, made sure my grandmother had a comfortable place to sit while we waited for our table, and got us in sooner than we expected. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We had a great experience at La Piazzia! The food was excellent and our waitress was spot on! Their bread served before the meal, had a delicious “woodfired“ type of crust, and it was served with olive oil. They also brought a dish of a variety of olives, which were excellent. One thing my husband and I particularly enjoyed was that the food was served piping hot, which isn’t always the case for many restaurants. We ordered orecchiette with broccoli rabe and sausage, the portions were generous and the price was on par with most other restaurants. The atmosphere was great, modern, and very tasteful. The other entrées that were brought out for different tables looked delicious, and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal. We highly recommend it!

La Piazza absolutely delivered a phenomenal dining experience from start to finish. The hospitality alone was warm, welcoming, and truly attentive. We were greeted with complimentary fresh bread, olives, and olive oil topped with grated cheese, which was the perfect way to ease into the meal. For our appetizer, we ordered the Vodka Arancini Balls, and they were incredible crispy on the outside, perfectly creamy inside, and packed with flavor. I also ordered a Four Roses Manhattan, which was perfectly balanced and crafted with real care. For dinner, my partner had the Tagliatelle Bolognese, which was rich, authentic, and served in a generous portion. I went with the Chicken Parm with Rigatoni, and it was flawless, beautifully breaded chicken, delicious sauce, and pasta cooked perfectly. Portions were more than satisfying without sacrificing quality. The ambience of the restaurant deserves its own praise—inviting, comfortable, and ideal for both a night out or a relaxed meal. And a huge shout out to our server Sabrina, who was exceptional the entire evening. Friendly, knowledgeable, and consistently attentive without ever feeling intrusive. She truly elevated the experience. La Piazza is an absolute gem in Wallingford. Fantastic food, amazing service, and a warm atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

We had such a great time at La Piazza! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming—perfect for our casual business dinner on a Monday night. There were 12 of us, and we stayed for over an hour just laughing, talking, and truly enjoying ourselves. The service was superb. The staff was attentive and consistently checked in to make sure we were comfortable and having a good time. Even with a large group, they handled everything smoothly. The food was also excellent. I ordered the lobster pettutelli, and it was absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely come back!
